Convenient access. Private support. Resources when you need them.

At Choctaw Health Center, caring for our community means finding new ways to make healthcare and prevention resources easier to reach. Our new Wellness Kiosk, located outside the Choctaw Health Center Emergency Room, provides free access to select healthcare and prevention products 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Wellness Kiosk is about more than providing products. It is another way we can reduce barriers, increase access, support prevention, and meet people where they are—with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Whether you are taking care of your own health, helping someone you love, or preparing to respond during an emergency, these resources are here for you.

What Is the Wellness Kiosk?

The Wellness Kiosk is a smart healthcare dispensing machine that provides convenient access to select wellness and prevention products.

Similar to using a vending machine, you simply follow the instructions on the touchscreen, select the product you need, complete a few brief questions, and collect the item from the dispensing area.

Free • 24/7 Access • Private & Confidential

There is no charge for products currently available through the Wellness Kiosk. Some products may have quantity limits.

Available Resources

Naloxone

Naloxone is a life-saving medication that can temporarily reverse an opioid overdose.

Having naloxone available means more people can be prepared to respond when an overdose occurs. You do not have to be personally at risk of an overdose to carry naloxone. Someone may obtain it to be prepared to help a family member, friend, or another person experiencing an emergency.

Providing access to naloxone does not encourage drug use. It provides people with a tool that can help save a life.

If you suspect an opioid overdose, call 911 immediately, administer naloxone if available, and follow emergency instructions.

Condoms

Condoms are an important prevention resource that can help reduce the risk of sexually transmitted infections and unintended pregnancy.

Making condoms conveniently available gives individuals another opportunity to make informed and responsible decisions about their health.

At-Home HIV Tests

At-home HIV testing gives individuals another option to learn their HIV status in a more convenient setting.

Knowing your status is an important part of taking care of your health. Testing can help individuals make informed decisions about prevention and determine when additional medical care or testing may be appropriate.

At-Home Syphilis Tests

At-home syphilis tests are also available through the Wellness Kiosk.

Testing can be an important first step toward identifying a possible infection and seeking appropriate follow-up care.

Have questions about an at-home test or your results? Contact Choctaw Health Center for guidance regarding appropriate follow-up or confirmatory testing.

Designed With You in Mind

24/7 Access

Healthcare needs do not always happen during regular business hours. The Wellness Kiosk is available day or night, including weekends and holidays.

Private & Confidential

We understand that some health concerns can be difficult to discuss. The kiosk provides another way to access select wellness and prevention resources with greater privacy.

No-Cost Resources

Cost should not prevent someone from accessing a resource that could protect their health or potentially save a life. Products currently available through the kiosk are completely free.

Convenient Access

The Wellness Kiosk is located outside the Choctaw Health Center Emergency Room, making these resources available beyond regular clinic hours.

Prevention-Focused

Healthcare is not only about treating illness after it occurs. Prevention, education, testing, and being prepared for an emergency are important parts of protecting individual and community health.

Why We Introduced the Wellness Kiosk

We know there can be many reasons someone does not access a health resource when they need it.

Work schedules, transportation, cost, privacy concerns, stigma, fear of judgment, or simply not knowing where to go can become barriers to care.

The Wellness Kiosk gives our community another option.

By making prevention resources available outside of traditional clinic hours, we can help remove some of those barriers and make it easier for people to take an important step toward protecting their health.

Reducing Stigma. Increasing Access.

Fear of judgment should never prevent someone from accessing a resource that could protect or save a life.

Someone obtaining naloxone may be preparing to save the life of a family member or friend.

Someone obtaining condoms may be taking a responsible step to protect their health and the health of another person.

Someone obtaining an HIV or syphilis test may be taking an important first step toward knowing their health status.

Our responsibility in healthcare is to protect lives, prevent illness, provide education, connect people with care, and help people move forward.

We want people to feel comfortable accessing the resources they need with dignity, compassion, and respect.

A Resource for All of Us

Taking care of our community means making sure people have access to resources when they need them.

The Wellness Kiosk gives individuals another way to protect themselves, care for someone they love, and be prepared to help during an emergency.

Whether someone is picking up naloxone for a loved one, obtaining a prevention resource, or taking an important step toward knowing their health status, every decision to protect health matters.

When we make prevention easier to access, we strengthen the health of our entire community.
